Introduction
Welcome Statement from Dr. Rachel S. Carpenter
UE is a vibrant and engaging university community in which we support everyone’s intellectual, interpersonal, and professional goals. Each year brings new faces and new opportunities to our campus community. I am glad you are here to embrace everything the University of Evansville has to offer. The term "the university" includes everyone - students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni. We are each a member of the university community.
This is a very special time in the life of students. It is my hope that you will find this experience full of life-changing experiences, both in and out of the classroom. I encourage you to learn more about your peers but also our faculty, staff, and administrators who have dedicated their careers to educating generations of students. Our entire university community will work together to help prepare you to live a meaningful life in a changing world.
